Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has invited prequalification applications from constructors/contractors for the development of infrastructure in LDA City.
The said notification has been posted in various news publications. It expresses LDA’s intent to develop LDA City in phases to compensate file-holders of the housing scheme on a priority basis.

The first phase, named ‘Development Area-1’, spans an area of about 13,000 kanals. The scope of work of the contractors include roads, water supply, sewerage, drainage network, bridges, and simple building construction works.

The invitation for prequalification is open to constructors/contractors and joint ventures registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-A. These contractors can obtain the prequalification documents from: 4th Floor, LDA Office Building, 467 D-II, MA Johar Town, Lahore, during office hours.
The applications must clearly state the words ‘Request for Prequalification Documents’ for the ‘Development of Infrastructure in LDA City, Lahore.’ Forms can be acquired by paying a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000.
The deadline for prequalification applications submission has been fixed at 3:00 PM on February 16, 2019.
Prequalification assessments will be conducted under ‘Punjab Procurement Rules 2014’ and ‘PEC Guidelines, 2009’.
