Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has invited pre-qualification bids for the establishment of an ‘Entertainment Park’ in M.A Johar Town, according to a publication. As per the source, the successful contractor will be responsible for setting-up a jogging track, a lake, open gymnasium, basketball court, tennis court, food court, mini golf arena, amphitheatre, and several bird enclosures, among other facilities at the venue.

The pre-qualification invitation has been extended to Constructors/Contractors & Joint Ventures who are registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-3 and above — with each applicant required to have experience of completing at least two projects of a similar nature in the past.
Eligible contractors are invited to submit their profiles containing the following information:
A) Name, address and years of operation
B) Company profile with relevant experience in projects
c) List of construction equipment & machinery available with the firm
d) Valid PEC registration certificate.
e) Audited financial statements for the past 3 years
f) NTN, sales tax and bank certificates regarding accounts.

The complete applications for pre-qualification, along with required documents must be delivered in sealed envelopes by hand or through registered mail to the LDA office latest by March 2, till 3:00 PM.
Pre-qualification shall be conducted under the Punjab Procurement Rules and the Pakistan Engineering Council’s Guidelines. Only pre-qualified constructors/contractors will be invited to participate in the bidding process. This pre-qualification notice is also available on the PPRA website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk).
