Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) Ahmad Aziz Tarar has directed the officials concerned to further facilitate the public at the one-window cell recently established at the authority’s office for the promotion of the construction sector — a news source reported. He instructed that all possible steps should be taken to make the process of receiving approvals easier for the citizens.
He asked for each applicant to be issued a digital tracking number so that they aren’t required to visit the one-window cell repeatedly — with all related matters to be resolved using the application numbers. Citizens will also be able to get an update on the progress of their applications through this number.
Additionally, the tracking number will allow citizens to visit the one-window cells established at the LDA office with a prior appointment and only after their specific matter has been resolved.
The LDA DG gave these orders while on a visit to observe the workings of the said one-window cell. He also took the opportunity to review the various services provided at the counter.
