A few days ago, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) retrieved a piece of land in Shadman, Lahore. According to a source, the land was allocated for establishing a charity hospital in 1988 but had been illegally used for commercial purposes since long. The officials had not paid attention towards this issue but now the land is retrieved.
Mohammad Noman Khan, the LDA Director Estate Management and Kh Javed Aslam, the Director Enforcement has supervised the operation during which the LDA employees have demolished the car showroom that was illegally built on this land.
Building plan of a triple storey hospital building has been approved from LDA in 1989 and permission to mortgage (PTM) had also been obtained to arrange resources to start constructing hospital building.
