Lahore: The Planning and Design Committee of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has approved starting another 16 new business ventures – for the promotion of business activities and generating employment – in the Lahore division, according to a news source published on November 8.

The said decision was taken after three weeks and was given a go-ahead for launching 48 new businesses in the Lahore division, during a meeting chaired by Director General Lahore Development Authority Ahmed Aziz Tarar on Saturday.

The LDA meeting approved the changes in the use of land to enable the establishment of 12 petrol pumps/filling station and four oil storage sites within the limits of the Lahore. The authority has taken applications submitted to start a new business that remained pending for a year and a half. During the last three weeks, the approvals were given to a total of 63 new businesses for the Lahore Division. The implementation of Land Use Regulations 2020 is also being executed by the authority for the promotion of business activities.
