Lahore – Punjab Government has given approval to LDA (Lahore Development Authority) to start working on the shifting project of Azadi Chowk Crossing. A go ahead has also been given to construct dual carriageway, to ease the flow of traffic, from existing junction to Masti Gate.
Under this project, LDA will develop four-way dual carriageway from Ahmed Ali Road to Lorry Adda and Masti Gate.
The project as designed by the National Engineering Services of Pakistan (NESPAK) has been approved by the Planning and Development Working Party (PDWP).
The completion of project would provide signal free crossing to Metro bus and ease the flow of traffic.
