The LDA staff demolished illegally constructed structures on plots 129-A and 129-B in B Block, and plot no 75 in L Block of the Sabzazar society, along with retrieving two 3.5 marla plots. In addition, the officials also retrieved another illegally occupied plot in the Tajpura scheme.
The authority had issued a warning against any land grabbing attempts over state-owned land, declaring that strict action would be taken against the land grabbers violating the COVID-19 lockdown.

Director General (DG) LDA Ahmad Aziz Tarar made an announcement in this regard via a press release issued on Friday. In it, he directed the entire field staff to keep patrolling the private and public housing societies falling under the authority’s jurisdiction, in order to keep abreast of any and all illegal activities taking place during the current lockdown.
He also stated that even though the authority’s offices had been closed, this did not mean that the LDA staff were on holiday. He further suggested for the officials concerned to construct boundary walls so as to secure state lands that were vulnerable to such aforementioned attempts at illegal land grabbing.
