Possession has remained a mystery in Lahore Development Authority (LDA)’s LDA Avenue I since its inception. The authority has carved out various plans from time to time to resolve litigation issues to the benefit of the allottees, and it seems they have finally worked.
For the fortunate individuals who own plots in the 69% of clear area in LDA Avenue I, and who have waited for a long time to taste the fruit of their patience, the moment is finally here. Now that the LDA has officially announced possession in the clear area of LDA Avenue I, the allottees must start to buckle down and build their homes. And those who had funnelled investment in the society to bag returns at the time of possession, now is your chance.
Intimation letters have been sent to 6,000 allottees as of now, and the remaining plot-owners will be informed soon by the authority. An even more promising update is that development work such as electrification, provision of water supply, sewerage systems, and road infrastructure has been completed in the clear area. Moreover, a one-window-cell on orders from the director general of the LDA has been set up at the authority’s office in Johar Town, where the proceedings of handing over possession will be completed in a day.
A site office has been set up in LDA Avenue I, where relevant staff has been deployed to demarcate the plots and to provide other necessary services. During the past few months, the LDA has also been able to retrieve 1,600 kanals of land from illegal occupants and more than 1,300 plots have been created on the reclaimed land.
The LDA has requested plot-owners to visit its one-window cell at 647-D II, Main Boulevard, Johar Town, Lahore to claim the possession of their plots. I wish all of you the very best of luck!

Can some one advise which is clear area in LDA Avenue I. Specially ”M” Block ?
Good Development. But there is no mention about the fate of the area under litigation. I propose that on LDAs website information be made available about each and every plot under litigation and any possible solution.
Is 1179-L LDA Ave 1 cleared of litigation?

Seems it will take time to increase the prices of plots.May be a year or so.Best of luck for long awiting owners.

My father ex-BOR employee purchased a plot (from BOR scheme) measuring 1 kanal and subsequently the whole land owned by BOR was acquired by LDA Ave-1 and promised to allot developed plot against the same. But to date we have no update.
