Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to introduce an e-bidding portal for public auctions of plots for overseas Pakistanis, according to ness published on July 19.

LDA Director General Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa chaired a meeting to review the procedure to start the e-bidding system. During the meeting, the attendees discussed the transfer of properties for overseas Pakistanis as well. The meeting also discussed an online portal facility to address other matters.
The LDA director general stated that the online portal will protect the properties of Overseas Pakistanis and eradicate counterfeiting. He went on to say that these efforts will promote transparency in the procedures of LDA.

The meeting was attended by Director (DG Headquarters) Akbar Nakai, Director Administration Imran Ali, Director Computer Services Abdul Basit Qamar, and other relevant officials.
