Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) Ahmad Aziz Tarar on Saturday directed the authorities concerned to devise a plan for the establishment of a world-class ‘Entertainment Park’ in the Johar Town area, according to news sources.

Tarar issued these directions during a visit to the site of the entertainment park in Johar Town. He was briefed by Project Director Abdul Razzak Chohan regarding the project’s development so far. The director general was informed that the park will span over an area of 140 kanals and will require a construction budget of PKR 330 million.

The project director revealed that the development authority has finalised an international-standard entertainment park and has pre-qualified contractors and engineering firms for the project’s execution. Chohan further said that the tenders will soon be floated.

Meanwhile, he mentioned that the park will include a gym, a jogging track, tennis court, basketball court, and a mini-golf club among other amenities for outdoor games.
