Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Tahir Farooq visited the Controlled Access Corridor Closed Road project, as reported on July 16.

According to the details, DG Farooq inspected the ongoing work on Package Two, which spans from Babu Sabu to Saggian Service Road. Project Director Haroon Safi and the contractor were also present during the inspection.
DG Farooq received a detailed briefing on the daily progress and targets achieved. The briefing highlighted the rapid progress on all sections of the service road in Package Two. Construction of the drain on one side of the Babu Sabu to Saggian service road is advancing swiftly, with concreting and asphalting processes underway simultaneously. Additionally, the water bond process is ongoing in the Gulshan Ravi to Babu Sabu area.

The team has deployed additional resources and machinery to ensure the timely completion of the project. DG Farooq emphasized the need to accelerate the work after Ashura to maintain the project’s momentum and meet deadlines. This inspection reflects the LDA’s commitment to enhancing Lahore’s infrastructure and ensuring the timely execution of critical development projects.
