Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) Ahmad Aziz Tarrar recently directed the officials concerned to complete the development work of LDA City as soon as possible; so that allottees could receive their possessions in a timely manner — a news source reported. He gave these orders during a visit to the LDA City site to review the progress of the project’s Phase I, Jinnah Sector.

While touring the project site, the LDA DG further directed that the remaining land for the housing society should be acquired and handed over to the authority soon. He added that the development work being done in LDA City should be high-quality, and that it should be a model project that provides all the modern facilities to its residents.
Moreover, he stated that work should be launched in LDA City Phase II as well, and asked the relevant officials to submit their recommendations for the acquisition of land for this purpose.

Additionally, DG Tarrar visited the site of the apartment building that is to be built under the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme. Reportedly, flats in this project will also be allotted to LDA employees.
