Lahore: Following the directives of Director General Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Muhammad Usman Moazzam, the Town Planning Wing Squad demolished 10 illegal constructions in the private housing societies of Lahore, according to news sources. These illegal constructions were located at the Lahore Avenue, the Board of Revenue Housing Society, Wapda Town, and other schemes.

As per officials, the LDA demolished plots 12, 13 and 55 in Avenue Lahore, while plots 11 and 14 were partly demolished. This operation was carried out against structures developed in violation of the approved society plans.
In Board of Revenue society, the plots 41 and 42 were demolished as they were being illegally used for commercial purposes. Similarly, in Wapda Town’s D2 Block, constructions on plots 111 and 113 were demolished.

In an earlier development, the LDA director general inspected various areas of the provincial capital to inspect the progress on road repairs. Moreover, he issued a 45-days deadline for the beautification of Thokar Niaz Baig Intersection.
