Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided that it will approve only earthquake-resistant buildings with adequate safety arrangements in future.
According to the changes made to the LDA Building and Zoning Regulations 2008, it has been made mandatory to structure new buildings in a way that prevents total collapse and minimises damage in the event of a natural disaster.
