Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Amna Imran has constituted four committees for monitoring development projects, a news source reported.

The estimation, grievance redress, quality control, and procurement committees have been tasked with overseeing the tendering procedure, procurement process, estimation of projects, and quality assurance.
An additional director general (ADG) will head a single committee. These individuals will ensure transparency at all levels of execution of development projects.

Other members of the estimation committee include director procurement & engineering (Water and Sanitation Agency) and head of the directorate concerned. Similarly, the grievance redress committee will comprise the legal adviser and director study (Traffic Engineering Planning Agency).
Moreover, ADG Housing will head the quality control committee. Its members include directors of the relevant bodies (Quality Control, Communication & Infrastructure, and Estate Management).

The ADG Headquarters will lead the procurement committee. Its members include directors administration, finance, director C&I, audit, procurement, the head of client directorate, and other technical experts.
