Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Monday conducted a survey in Sabzazar Scheme to determine illegal property occupation in the area, a news source reported. In this regard, the LDA Directorate of Land Development IV carried out a comprehensive survey within the society for protecting the authority’s plots against illegal occupation.

An LDA spokesperson stated that the directorate team identified 38 vacant plots in Block N of the society. He added that the team had begun the process of adding these plots to the LDA plot bank in order to generate revenue via open auction.

The spokesperson revealed that the directorate had forwarded a request to the chairperson of the Allocation Committee in regards to the plots identified. He added that the team had also requested the Director Estate Management concerned for protecting the said plots against illegal property occupation. The director will make the necessary arrangement for keeping watch on the plots.
