Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Tuesday conducted a drive against illegal constructions in the city, a news source reported. In this regard, the LDA Planning Wing team conducted the operation from Jallo Mor to The Mall.

According to details shared by an LDA spokesperson, the planning wing team demolished three illegal structures constructed on the city’s Canal Road. He added that the team had determined that the buildings did not possess an approved map. He further stated that the LDA had not provided its permission for constructing the now demolished commercial building on Canal Road.
On the other hand, the LDA Estate Management Directorate-II team demolished pillars constructed on a plot in Block T of Gulberg-III. During the operation carried out against illegal constructions in Lahore, a police official and other enforcement squads accompanied the LDA teams.
