Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has approved the revised plan for the LDA City Iqbal sector in its 5th Annual Governing Body meeting, news sources reported. The meeting was presided over by Vice Chairman (VC) S M Imran, and the governing body approved the modified plan for the 16,000-kanal project. Director General (DG) LDA Ahmad Aziz Tarar briefed members on progress on the Lahore Master Plan 2050.

In addition, the following meeting agendas were mulled and approved during the proceeds:
• The transfer of plot number 36 to 39 in Jubilee Town, Civic Centre to Women Development Department
• Approval of the revised PC-1 of the Arena Walk & Shop Park in Johar Town
• The completion of all formal work paperwork of agreement between Chiniot Housing Society and LDA Avenue 1
• Expedited allotment of plots to the affectees of LDA Avenue 1
• Commencement of the construction work on Tajpura water tank
• The transfer of Mahmood Booti and Shahdara waste treatment plants to Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA)
• Exemption of plot conversion fee of Hijaz Hospital in Gulberg
The said meeting was attended by all high-ranking officials of the civic authority.
