Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Additional Director-General (Urban Planning) Rana Tikka Khan has approved the proposal to supply electricity to LDA City, reported a news source. Presiding over the meeting to review the progress of developments in this project, ADG directed the concerned officials to start development work in phases V and VI of LDA City using the surplus funds.

He also told the officers to complete the land process as soon as possible in addition to the Sui-gas supply and other amenities.
Moreover, it was further revealed that Punjab Horticulture Authority (PHA) will develop Green areas along LDA City and initially take care of them for a period of two years.

At the same time, LDA City file holders await the third balloting. According to the details, up till now, LDA has given three balloting dates but none of this could be finalised. In addition to this, the development plan LDA City Iqbal Sector is also pending. Reportedly, the LDA director general has already taken notice of the slow pace of work and have issued orders to increase the pace of related developments.
