Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has announced launching the ‘Iqbal Sector‘ in its LDA City, following the successful completion of its Jinnah Sector (Phase 1), according to a news source published on October 25.
Reportedly, the new sector spans an area of 12,000 Kanals. With the land acquisition process 50% complete, the authority says that the remaining land is currently being acquired. In addition to apartments, the Iqbal sector is offering 2-Kanal, 1-Kanal, 10-Marla and 5-Marla residential plots.

Additionally, the project features wide roads, including 40-feet residential service roads and 200-feet wide Chenab Road – for which the tender process is underway. Moreover, the development of the 180-feet wide road leading to the society from the Ferozepur Road is also complete.

The LDA City is strategically situated between the Chenab Road, the Defence Road and the Lahore Ring Road to provide its residents with easy access throughout the city. The society dwellers can also enjoy a signal-free drive from the Lahore International Airport. The balloting process for Iqbal Sector’s files are expected with the Jinnah Sector’s third ballot.
