Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has revealed its plan to initiate the possession process for plots in Block C of LDA City’s Jinnah Sector during the first week of December, as reported on November 12.

This announcement took place in a meeting chaired by Commissioner Lahore and LDA Director General (DG) Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Saturday. The commissioner directed officials to set up a one-window service on-site to facilitate prompt payments for land acquisition in LDA City. Commissioner Randhawa expressed the belief that this one-window system would benefit the concerned citizens in LDA City.
He instructed them to outline an action plan detailing the status of ongoing development projects. Additionally, he stressed the importance of conducting regular progress reviews for LDA City and requested a comprehensive performance report from the officers assigned to LDA City.

During the meeting, there was a detailed examination of the preparations for obtaining possession of C Block. A comprehensive presentation highlighted advancements in construction, installation of street lights, placement of signboards, and progress on the roads. The meeting was informed that development efforts in LDA City are being expedited.
The meeting was also attended by Additional Commissioner Usman Ghani, Additional DG UP Khalid Guraya, Project Director, Director Finance, Director LAC, and the LDA City team.
