Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) City’s Jinnah Sector commercial plots computerised balloting will take place in October, according to a social media post published by the authority on September 22, 2021.

According to LDA information, as of the closing date, the authority has received a total of 12,789 balloting applications, with a total of 7,516 applicants submitting challan payments. A breakdown of the application statistics of various categories are as follows:
- A total of 3,176 candidates submitted challan fees in the 5-marla category,
- A total of 2,619 applicants submitted challan payments in the 7-marla category
- A total of 845 applicants submitted challan payments in the 10-marla category
- A total of 876 applicants submitted challan payments in the 15-marla category

To increase transparency, the LDA intends to hire the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) to conduct computerised balloting of the plots.
