Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has finally announced the eagerly-anticipated ballot date for LDA City’s Jinnah Sector commercial plots, according to a social media post published by the authority on September 28. According to the details, the balloting will take place at LDA Sports Complex, Johar Town on October 1, at 12 pm.
Reportedly, LDA is holding balloting for commercial plots of 5, 7, 10, and 15 marlas in the LDA City Jinnah Sector. The authority has collaborated with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for a computerised balloting procedure in order to make the voting process more transparent. LDA had previously invited applications from the interested parties till September 20 and received 12,789 balloting applications for various categories of commercial plots. However, of the total 7,516 applicants submitted challan payments.
