Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Urban Planning Additional Director General Rana Tikka Khan has issued directives to release challan forms for the collection of LDA City development charges on a timely basis, according to a news source.
What are the development charges for LDA City plots?
As per the decision of the LDA governing body, the development charges on all plot files in the society have been slashed by half – detailed as follows:

10 Marla | 690,000 (50% of 1,380,000) |
1 Kanal | 1,150,000 (50% of 2,300,000) |
Further, the authority announced its decision to set the development charges for commercial properties in LDA City at a going rate of PKR 500,000.

MCL approves building plans for 12 projects
In another development, the Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (a sub-committee of the Planning Wing) has provided its sanction to the building plans of 12 commercial and residential projects in the city. To this effect, it has forwarded these blueprints to the design committee for its final approval.

Of these 12 buildings, three are located within the LDA’s jurisdiction, four in the Data Gunj Bakhsh Zone, and two the in Shalimar Zone. As per reports, the building plans for a 10-storey hotel project on Wahdat Road and a 2.14-kanal commercial building on Ferozepur Road have also been approved.
