Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has set December 30 as the last date for the submission of the second instalment of LDA City development charges, a news source reported on December 1. It further stated that the challan forms for dues’ submission had been uploaded to its website.

According to the civic agency, LDA City file holders who were unable to submit the first instalment of development charges could use the challan forms issued to them to submit both instalments.
Meanwhile, LDA Engineer Amir Riaz Qureshi and Chief Engineer Abdul Razzaq Chohan visited the LDA City project site and reviewed the development work. The officials were briefed by the Project Director Hammad ul Hassan.

Both officials also reviewed the LDA City Naya Pakistan Apartments project site and issued instructions for holding the initiative’s groundbreaking on a timely basis.
Reportedly, the demand for plots in LDA City Phase I’s Jinnah Sector seem to hike up recently, and the files are selling out fast. As per the industry experts, the prices of these plots are estimated to nearly double in coming three years. This gated community spreads over an area of 41,000 kanals and is expected to house more than 50,000 families.
