Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is all set to launch commercial plots in LDA City Jinnah Sector Phase I, for which applications from interested buyers will be invited soon, according to a news source. As per the decision of LDA governing body, these commercial plots will be balloted in the same way as DHA ballots.
The application forms for LDA City commercial plots in Jinnah Sector Phase 1 will be available online at the official website of the LDA while applicants will be required to deposit the processing fee at designated banks.

For holding the computerised balloting, the LDA will seek services of Punjab Information Technology board. Further, the computerised ballot will be held in the presence of applicants, officials from National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and media personnel.
As per the LDA statistics, the authority has allotted residential plots to over 10,000 file holders in Jinnah Sector, where development work worth billions of rupees is currently underway. In addition, LDA has allotted plot numbers to these files, against which allocation letters are available for the owners to collect from the LDA office in Johar Town. In order to get the allocation letters, the owners are required to first clear pending development charges.

LDA City development charges are to be paid in instalments. As per the plan communicated by the officials, the deadline to clear third instalment of LDA City plots is March 31.
