LDA has termed the first development phase as ‘Development Area-1’. This phase spans over an area of 13,000 kanals. Once LDA completes this phase, it will continue with the development of the subsequent phases. Sources revealed that each development phase would be self-sustainable and connected to the other phases.
In a recent publication, LDA invited contractors and joint ventures for prequalification for the work of developing the electrical infrastructure in LDA City. It has invited contractors that are registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), and meet the specific criteria for the ‘Development of Electrical Infrastructure (Underground) in LDA City Phase-1, Lahore’.
LDA will welcome contractors with the capability and experience in the field of executing electrical work for similar housing developments and infrastructure projects. The authority has encouraged such contractors to submit their profiles according to a ‘Request for Quotation (RFQ)’ document.
According to the development authority, contractors will have to submit their requests along with some other required information. For complete details of the information required for submission, interested contractors can find LDA’s notice for pre-qualification on the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) website: www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk.
