Lahore: The ballot event for the Lahore Development Authority (LDA)’s LDA City Phase I project files – issued after December 01, 2019 – was successfully completed on Friday (February 14), according to news sources. The proceedings saw the awarding of 308 plot numbers, against their corresponding files, by the scheme’s management.

The LDA City ballot results are available on the authority’s official website and the file holders can enter their provided file numbers to find out the plot number allocated against their respective files.
Punjab Minister for Housing Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed inaugurated the event. In his address, he said that LDA City was the ‘city of the future’ and that it was on track towards early completion. He lauded the LDA administration for its vigilance on this front.

LDA Director General (DG) Sumair Ahmed Syed said that the development authority had contracted the services of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) to ensure transparency in the ballot. He further stated that the file holders would only have to pay half of the development charges against these 308 plot files (51 files of 1-kanal plots, 135 files of 10-marla plots and 120 files of 5-marla plots).
