Lahore: The newly appointed Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Amna Imran Khan recently underscored the need for civic agencies to work together in a more coordinated fashion, according to a news source. She said that authorities that are looking into mega infrastructure projects need to be better at dealing with emergencies.
She was speaking during a meeting of LDA officers. She said that officials need to be given adequate training so that they are able to perform better, at times when more effort is required.
She also said that the process through which no-objection certificates (NOC)s are issued need to be improved, and recommendations for the same have been finalised. A final approval however is awaited, and will be acquired soon.
