Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) Tahir Farooq has recently led a meeting to review ongoing and proposed development projects in Lahore. directing the swift completion of these initiatives, as reported in a news article on March 16.

According to the details, the LDA Chief Engineer Israr Saeed and TEPA Chief Engineer Iqrar Hussain provided updates on various projects including the Karim Market Underpass, Garhi Shahu Underpass, flyovers, and sports complexes currently under construction by the LDA. The LDA has also reported that 60% of the Ravi Bridge expansion project has been completed.

Moreover, plans for Structure Plan Roads were deliberated upon during the meeting. TEPA’s Chief Engineer also briefed the DG on the measures taken to manage traffic flow at critical points in the city, highlighting the completion of patchwork on 649 potholes and maintenance of 66 km of roads across different areas of Lahore.
