It is important to mention here that LDA invited prequalification bids in September for the dualisation of Burki Road from the Lahore School of Economics (LSE) to the BRB, as well as the construction of roads on both sides of the Babu Sabu interchange. On November 2, seven firms initially qualified for the PKR 400 million Burki Road infrastructure project, and four firms qualified for the PKR 242.7 million Babu Sabu Road development project. Now with the award of the tender to the firms, the project is expected to be completed in the coming 6 months.
