After all the arguments that surround the Lahore Development Authority (LDA)’s plan to take over public land for the development of roads, the civic authority has now put forth an interesting offer. The LDA has approved a policy of commercialisation of land/properties as a compensation for the land acquisition.
The authority plans to complete missing road links under the Structure Plan Roads project. Landowners who surrender their property to the LDA will have land of the same size commercialised in that very vicinity. But there is a catch here: the authority will charge a commercialisation fee.
Landowners who wish to surrender their land and avail the offer have to submit an application to LDA’s director commercialisation before January 31, 2016.
In a public notice titled ‘Unique Opportunity’, the LDA gave the following Khasra numbers of land required for the development of roads:
Structure Plan Road # 1: The road will be built from Valencia Housing Scheme to Defence Road. It will cut through the Hudiara Drain and will be linked to the Raiwind Road.

Yeah let’s hope so! There are many other societies which will probably get benefit from it. But the project is at its initial stage. So,I think it’s too early to be certain about the possible benefits.

Yes but i think in 2016 they will complete this as there are very small missing links in between these roads and also LDA has also approved budget for these structure roads in this years budget

As per blog, there are 3 different Structure plan (6,7 & 9) that will pass through Audit and account society.
