Discussions also covered private housing schemes, the Citizen Facilitation Centre, and ongoing digitisation efforts. The delegation provided suggestions for improving private housing scheme management and proposed the introduction of escrow accounts in the development sector. DG LDA Tahir Farooq praised DLD’s expertise, noting that the partnership under the previously signed MoU is providing valuable technical support. The delegation also visited the Citizen Facilitation Centre and Property Transfer Cell, where they commended LDA’s online building plan approval system.
