Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) Ahmed Aziz Tarar has directed private builders to develop roads, parks and plots within their housing projects as per the criteria communicated by the civic agency, a news source reported on December 28.

He expressed his views on the matter during a visit to several private housing schemes in the city. Chief Metropolitan Planner Syed Nadeem Akhtar Zaidi and other officials concerned were all present at the occasion.
Previously, the Lahore High Court (LHC) and the Judicial Water Commission had directed the authorities concerned to review the implementation status of society maps and water-related violations in private housing projects.
