Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to allocate PKR 12 billion for the completion of ongoing development projects in the next fiscal year, news sources reported. The said budget approval will be sought from the governing body.

With a budget of KR 12.005 billion, a total of 27 projects will be completed. Among the tasks that will be completed within the budget are:
- PKR 2 billion for the development and construction of missing links of structured plan roads
- PKR 2 million for the rehabilitation of roads in Allama Iqbal Town
- PKR 10 million for the construction of ‘Joday Pull’ intersection in Allama Iqbal Town
- PKR 20.5 million for the patchwork and rehabilitation of roads in Faisal Town
- PKR 30.5 million for the construction of roads of Block B1 and G3 in Johar town
- PKR 200 million has been set aside for the construction of the main sewage line from Mohalanwal to Jubilee Town
- PKR 1.2 billion to address the traffic congestion problem in Samanabad Chowk
- PKR 2.3 billion for the construction and widening of road from Harbans Pura to B.R.B canal
- PKR 760 million for the rehabilitation, remodelling and special maintenance of Canal Road underpasses
- PKR 2 billion set aside for the construction of gates and beautification of city entry and exit points
- PKR 1.2 billion has been allocated for the remodelling of Akbar Chowk
