LDA announces policy details for LDA City plot ballot

Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority has shared the details of its policy finalised for conducting the plot ballot event in LDA City, according to a publication. As per the details previously communicated, the ballot to assign numbers against plots situated in the LDA City will take place on November 30.

Further, the LDA has announced its decision to include the owners of the scheme’s exemption files in the upcoming ballot process. The details of the said policy are as follows:

• The last date to submit applications for issuance of exemption letters for plot files and their transfers is November 16.
• The process to complete the issuance of exemption and transfer letter will be completed by November 26.
• LDA will only include those files against which it has issued exemption letters.
• The LDA City file holders who have not applied for the issuance of exemption letter should do so immediately by getting in touch with the LDA City development partner concerned, otherwise they will not be included in the ballot.
• The details on exemption letters and transfer notices issued by the LDA will be uploaded to the development authority’s official website on November 28.

Previously, the LDA had stated that it would collaborate with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) to organise the balloting process.
