Get a list of 20% mortgaged plot numbers and blocks
Ensure the selected plot is within the approved scheme plan and not mortgaged with LDA.
Inquire about the availability/approval status of the civic amenities (water, gas, power etc.).
Visit the site marked for public amenities like parks, schools, hospitals and mosques on the advertised maps.
Check if the project is under investigation for fraud and other illegal activities by any law enforcement agency, including National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
