Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is all set to present five new development projects to newly elected Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Hamza Shehbaz, news sources reported on April 19. The LDA will table the projects before the CM for final approval and funding procurement.

Reportedly, the LDA has prepared a detailed presentation to resume work on the projects that were approved during the last government tenure. The proposed projects include:
- PKR 6.4 billion Gulberg-Babusabu interchange elevated expressway project
- PKR 2.8 billion Shahdara Mor multi-level grade separation flyover
- PKR 2.40 billion Ring Road expansion project
- A signal-free corridor from Center Point Gulberg to Defence Mor
- T-junction from Babu Sabu to Gulshan-e-Ravi

In addition, once the province’s administration is constituted, the authority will pursue 15 additional existing and planned projects for the city. It is also vital to note that the LDA is actively pursuing the projects and wishes to complete them in order to minimise cost overruns.
