Lahore: The Lahore Central Business District Development Authority (LCBDDA) has announced March 10 as the date of the 2nd auction of commercial plots in Lahore Downtown, a news advertisement by the authority informed. During the auction, seven plots of various dimensions will be auctioned off.

As per the advertisement, the plots will be auctioned on a ‘Buy and Built’ basis. The buyers will be allowed to build ultra-high signature towers, financial centers, mix-use complexes and technology centers. In order to participate in the auction, interested parties must send a bank draft or bank order of a non-refundable sum of PKR 25,000 to the LCBDAA office. Moreover, the ad also highlighted the salient features and investment benefits of the project a few f te which are:
- The successful bidder of the land auction will be required to pay 10% of the auction price within 45 days after the auction
- The remaining amount will be payable in 5 years installments
- A discount of 5% will be applicable in case of paying in full within one year of the auction
- Participants will be offered special bylaws to construct ultra-highrises

- One window operation for guidance and consultation to the developers and successful bidders

Following plots of various dimensions will be offered for auction:
- Two 14 kanal plots Downtown 1&7 FAR 1:15
- Two 12 Kanal plots Downtown 2&6 FAR 1:15
- Three 10 kanal plots Downtown 3,4 & 5 FAR 1:15
