Lahore: The Central Business District Development Authority (LCBDA) on Saturday (September 4) held pre-bid interaction sessions for the “Lahore Prime” project, news sources reported. The project is located in Lahore on Gulberg Main Boulevard, Kalma Chowk, and Ferozepur Road. The LCBDA is developing the project to foster urbanisation and the development of high-rise structures.

The “Lahore Prime” project features 5 prime location plots that are scheduled to be auctioned on September 7, 2021 (Tomorrow). the session was attended by the prominent names of the real estate development and construction businesses hailing from Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. The former Walton Airport Land is being converted into the Central Business District (CBD), which will include high-rise skyscrapers and urban commercial centres.

The government has enacted special bylaws that benefit investors and provide land on long-term leases. For the builders, this involves a highly attractive floor area ratio (FAR) of the development sites. On the occasion, Mohammad Omer, executive director of commercial CBD, stated that the project provides an excellent atmosphere for business development, with some of the greatest amenities that would place Pakistan on the Global Business District list.
