Islamabad: The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) has extended the last date for door-to-door housing and population census to ensure the complete inclusion of the masses as per the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, according to an advert published in national dailies. The new deadline to do so is April 10.

The public is asked to call 0800-57574 or share their complete address on 9727 if the field enumerators haven’t visited their households yet. It was highlighted that PBS has established 495 Census Support Centers to help citizens. These centres are established in the offices of deputy commissioners in Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Islamabad. In Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, these centres are set up in offices of assistant commissioners.
