Larkana: Peoples Bus Service district is all set to be made operational soon in Larkana as a fleet of 16 buses has arrived in the city, according to a news story published in the leading newspaper on August 7.

Larkana Commissioner Ghanwar Ali Leghari and the secretary of provincial transport and mass transit have proposed three routes for the bus service. The proposed routes will connect all talukas of the district. As per the details, the routes include Larkana to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto via Dodai, Chuharpur, Mahotta, Kehar, and Naudero; Larkana to Ratodero through Dhamrah and Banguldero; and Larkana to Mohenjo Daro through Otha Chowk, Bakrani, Arija, and Airport.

Moreover, the deputy commissioner, notables, and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman’s secretary went for a trial ride within the city on Friday (August 5). The bus service will provide a cost-effective and comfortable public transport facility for the 1.56 million people of the Larkana district. It was also mentioned that the bus service will provide a transport facility for the tourists who wants to visit the heritage site of Mohenjo Daro.
