Islamabad: Land spanning 50 kanals in H-9 has been reserved for establishing Pakistan’s first film academy, reported a news source. This academy will be set up with the help of China.
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will lay the academy’s foundation stone in the next month, where known celebrities from Pakistan’s film industry will be invited. The map for this film academy has been prepared by the famous architect Nayyar Ali Dada.
For the first phase of construction, PKR 200 million has been reserved. While PKR 500 million will be spent in the second phase of construction.
