Rawalpindi: As the development and construction of Islamabad International Airport nears completion, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued notices advising pilots to land all airplanes at this new airport, effective from the 20th, according to a news report.
While commenting on this, officials of the CAA said that this is the second time such a notice has been issued to the airmen. Work on making the facility ready for inauguration on April 20 is underway at a fast pace and the CAA has formulated an organising committee for making all arrangements. Different committees have been established to create different tasks, with one such committee established to make preparations for the inauguration event of the airport.
