Lahore: Director General (DG) Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Ahmed Aziz Tarar on Tuesday (August 3) visited the authority’s flagship housing project ‘LDA City’ and reviewed development works and land acquisition issues in the scheme, news sources reported. During his visit, Mr Ahmad Aziz said that more than 80% of the land has been acquired for LDA City Jinnah Sector.

The director general also revealed that LDA is in contact with the landowners to acquire more property for the LDA City.
Furthermore, he instructed the authorities and concerned departments to hasten the completion of development activities in the scheme, including the creation of green belts, by employing all available resources. He also said that the provision of electricity, gas and other utility services should be completed in two months. Furthermore, he directed the authorities to complete the scheme’s remaining land acquisition work at the earliest. The installation of electricity, gas, and other utility services should take two months.

Mr Tarrar remarked on the occasion that all LDA City file holders will be handed ownership of the plots by next year. On this occasion, Chief Engineer LDA Mazhar Hussain Khan gave an update on the project’s ongoing development activities.
