Lakki Marwat: The residents of Lakki city have requested the tehsil municipal administration (TMA) to launch a cleanliness campaign ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, a news source reported.

They said that sewerage drains in the urban locality have been blocked due to excessive filth. They added that no mechanism is in place for proper disposal of garbage on a daily basis.
They regretted that such worrisome situation has been causing a lot of inconvenience to the locals as of lately. Moreover, the TMA staffers have not cleaned the streets and sewerage drains in the congested Haqdadabad locality for the last two months.
The residents requested the authorities concerned to take appropriate action against sweepers and sanitary workers who show negligence behaviour towards their duty.

They also asked the district administration and authorities of local government to direct officials of municipal administration to launch a cleanliness drive ahead of Eid in the area.
