Lakki Marwat: The district council of Lakki Marwat recently approved its annual development programme (ADP) with an outlay of PKR 590 million for the fiscal year 2019-20, according to a news source.
The council meeting was held at the district headquarters complex, Tajazai, and was presided over by naib nazim Haji Arab Khan. District nazim Iqbal Hussain Advocate was also present at the occasion.

The naib nazim, who also acted as convener, detailed the funds provided under the ADP. He said that for the educational uplift schemes, PKR 102 million would be allocated.
Similarly, a sum of PKR 51 million would be allocated for the health sector, while sports, women development and agriculture would receive PKR 25 million each. Funds worth PKR 270 million would be reserved for public welfare projects in different sectors under discretionary head.

The council member approved the ADP and urged the local bodies to ensure the transparent utilization of funds.
