Lahore: The federal and Punjab governments have decided to construct homes under the government’s Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) at 9 spots across the provincial capital – a news source reported.

Three of these sub-projects will be executed by the federal government, while the remaining 6 will be executed by the Punjab government. The allotment policy for these homes has also been prepared. According to the policy, citizens will be able to submit the allotment forms in the branches of the Bank of Punjab, free of cost.

Additionally, according to the new policy, the Sui Gas charges have not been included in the estimated cost of the home. Speaking on the matter, the Punjab Housing Minister Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed has said that the forms will be issued by the end of October. He expected the allotment to be done during the month of November.
