Sialkot: The Lahore-Sialkot motorway construction project has been completed by 61%, a news source reported.

The 89.2-kilometre-long, four-lane construction project is expected to be completed at a cost of PKR 43.84 billion, as communicated by Project Director Asif Qasim during a meeting conducted for discussion on the motorway project under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Syed Bilal Haider.
The motorway will be linked to the Lahore Ring Road as well as to the Lahore Eastern Bypass, in accordance with the committee’s suggestion at the meeting.

Work is being done simultaneously on four separate sections of the project; Kala Shah Kaku to Muridke, Muridke to Narowal, Narowal to Pasrur, and Pasrur to Sambrial. The project also includes seven interchanges, including Kala Shah Kaku interchange, Gujranwala interchange and Pasrur interchange.
