In response to the deteriorating air quality and to address the alarming levels of smog and pollution, local authorities have decided to implement a partial shutdown. This will entail the closure of schools, markets, and both government and private institutions every Wednesday for at least the next two months. To facilitate this measure, school administrations have been directed to enable their staff to work from home on Wednesdays, ensuring a smooth transition to the new schedule. Banks, private institutions, clubs, and hotels are also expected to comply with the Wednesday shutdown.
